Hey there, I don't think this kind of summary exists, since there are many such configurations. What exactly are you trying to do, or what is not working like you expect it to work?

thank you for response.
in my case specifically i do not understand how an unpaid subscription became active when billing interval changed from monthly to yearly. i would expect it to stay unpaid. what am i missing?

I need to step away, but if you can share the specific subscription ID or request ID then my colleague @trim jungle can help you take a look at that

Hi there, I'm going to be taking over from my colleague synthrider, let me catch up.

#

All caught up, can you share a subscription ID or request ID so we can take a look?

i just repeated again from unpaid monthly to yearly -> became past_due. (sub_1Rt9pb4RpqgkLcJCt7k7Ys7z) makes sense because interval became bigger and thus did not yet exhausted all retries for past_due, right?
and this (sub_1Rt9vi4RpqgkLcJCkohUwd6q) first did unpaid yearly, then updated subscription to montly price id

#

and for sub_1Rt9vi4RpqgkLcJCkohUwd6q it became active

#

sorry, i also need to step away. going to return here tomorrow (GMT+3)
thank you for looking into this

Ah, ok. If you need to step away the best bet is to reach out via support and we can assist you via e-mail. I will not be here at GMT +3. Please send a message to support@stripe.com and they will route you to our team.
