that's correct, if you don't want that to happen, we have a preview feature that you could get access to if you're eligible. you can contact https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true and ask for the billing cycle anchor feature on CustomerPortal's Subscription Update. Tell them that we sent you from discord and they should be able to help you out
