hi there, i want to acknowledge your question ๐ I'm working on other threads now but will get to yours soon
Thank you for waiting. To confirm, the request ID you shared links to a Checkout Session that creates a subscription. In subscription mode, the payment_intent field is always null. payment_intent is only applicable if you use Checkout Session in Payment mode. The same is stated in our API reference: https://docs.stripe.com/api/checkout/sessions/object#checkout_session_object-payment_intent
how can i create a refund for subscriptions then?
If you wish to obtain the payment intent associated to your checkout session in subscription mode, you can retrieve InvoicePayments [0] using the invoice ID in checkout.session.completed event.
The resulting response body should contain the payment intent ID
can i send you object received on checkout.session.completed
You mean sharing the event body? I can see the body to Stripe events on my end, but if there's something specific you'd want to flag feel free to share.
managed to get the intent id through invoice
