have you tried using the same discount ID in the second phase in test mode / sandbox? i actually have not tried that so i don't know off the top of my head
nope not yet, will test it and tell you what will happen

i'm not sure off the top of my head if it's a best practice, but i can look into that! i don't think it's common but i don't think it's necessarily a bad idea as long as the API accepts it
it seems it works.. I am testing with different types of coupon discounts
any chance you can share an example schedule you're testing on so i can take a look at some specifics of what you're testing with?
ok, as i've been digging into this further there shouldn't be anything wrong with re-using a discount, so as long as the API is accepting it it should be fine. but i would continue to test out any of the cases you might be implementing in test mode / sandbox mode just to be sure they all behave as you expect
