Yes, Google Pay is not supported in India. You could try using a VPN to see if it works, but I recommend asking your colleague based in another country to test

I recommend asking your team mate based in another country that can use Google Pay to test. It is not possible to use Google Pay in India because the end-customer needs to have a valid card in their Google Wallet to be able to see this payment menthod
