i perform what I am calling the "won dispute transfer" inside the charge.dispute.closed webhook if that helps. Maybe that one is called before Stripe can return the funds

fyi something else cropped up that's pulling at my attention but i'll get back to this as soon as possible! i'm half way through my reproduction, just need to finish a couple of steps

ah, I see I have make the common mistake listed here. Unfortunately the decision was not mine to wait until the dispute was lost to reverse transfer the funds, my management decided we dont want to hold the bag while we wait for disputes to resolve. I will see what they say about holding some amount of money in the Platform account to handle disputes, thanks for your help
