ok so its a little complicated because I am new to the project. the deprecation happened before I got here. at that time the decision was made that a billing profile (aka Stripe customer) HAS to have a credit card as their default payment. this was done as a response to the ACH deprecation. I am trying to understand why that would be true. From what I have read so far, it really doesnt seem to be a rule that we had to implement. Which is why i am investigating whether it would be possibleto migrate all ACH customers to the new API. and then remove the forced Credit Card requirement
