When you say merchant location is in Australia, are you saying your Stripe account is located in Australia but you wish to use bank transfers as a payment method?
If so, bank transfers is only available for accounts in European Union, Japan, Mexico, United Kingdom, United States: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/payment-methods/payment-method-support#country-currency-support:~:text=Belgium-,Bank transfers,-EUR%2C GBP%2C JPY
