I’m creating customers with metadata fields that may have duplicate values, and when I search from the dashboard, multiple results are returned
I’d like to prevent these from being shown.
or is there a way avoid results with special metadata in the customer?

If you want to filter the list based on something else, you'd have to add something else, and then filter on it.
Otherwise how would Stripe know which of the multiple customers with that metadata key you want to see?
