👋 happy to help
unfortunately we don't have that documented
the best thing is to rely on our Address Element as my colleagues previously suggested
In this case our customers have to enter more data as they need now with the managed/hosted checkout page.
I have to get back to my product manager. Thanks 🙂
if you prefer you can always use Embedded Checkout Sessions
I think we were also talking about this solution, yes. But this was not flexible enough.
We want on the checkout page an option for the customer to change the subscription plan.
All in one let´s say.
That´s why we try with the elements to be flexible as possible with all the components
you can offer other products in Checkout
this feature is still in private preview. you think we can already use it?
that's not what I sent you
but you don't need Embedded Components
you need Embedded Form
sorry my bad, I should have specified that https://docs.stripe.com/payments/checkout/upsells?payment-ui=embedded-form
ah ok
and you can even stay with your existing Hosted Checkout Session, if that's the only reason you're moving to Stripe Elements
Looks like it´s "only" to change between a monthly and yearly plan. We also want the option to switch to a completly different product at checkout.
We have 3 different plans with monthly and yearly prices each
so we also were thinking of this line item update option last week
yeah that won't be possible then
it would be with Embedded Components
but you need beta access
you can reach out to the team via the contact form on the page you shared
alright, I will try this. And for the other options we talked about I will talk to my manager what we wanna do.
Thank you very much for all the details.
sure let me know if you need any more help
