The subscription creation doesn't seem out of line given the structure with additional items and manual tax rates etc. The cancel does seem to be longer than I'd expect typically.

I see you're re-using a single test customer with many subscriptions, which can misbehave if there's interaction between objects that doesnt reflect real usage.

I would suggest testing with a new/separate customer for comparison
