and are there any examples of how this can be done with paypal available?\

we don't have public examples of custom payment methods integrations but your understanding that the payment button would need to be in the embedded component make sense

the workaroud would be to direct customer to PayPal's website in the handleSubmit function

hrm so it wouldn't be able to display the paypal button per se but if they select it, then the submit button takes them to paypal?
