Hey there, yes the session payment_intent is null in subscription mode because the payment is instead associated with the subscription invoice, not the session directly
So with the same technique, you can read the subscription ID off the checkout session, then retrieve that subscription and expand the latest_invoice.payment_intent.latest_charge.balance_transaction to get the balance transaction with the payment fee
