Hi! I think you're doing the same thing in both of those situations, except via different means (vanilla JS vs React) - can you tell me more about what exactly you're trying to do here?

I'm trying to disable apple and google pay for user A but allow it for user B.

Cool. Can you share the code you use to create whatever it is that you optoinally want to display Apple Pay/Google Pay?

paymentElement doesn't respect those options and still shows apple and google pay options on a phone
