Yeah exactly, it has defaulted to "stripe" with a purpley multi coloured background after pairing with my account. But when I purchased this second hand reader, the previous business had their own logo and colour set

Yep gotcha, okay you can do this via the API: https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/fleet/splash-screen?dashboard-or-api=api

That will be much more pragmatic than logging into the Dashboard for each Express Connected Account to handle this.
