No you can't, the idea is just to see if the device you are using is supported for Tap to Pay

you can generate a test payment from your main Stripe Account just for tests (without completing it)

just to see if Tap to Pay is supported in your phyiscal device

now to recap:

  • i have a simple react native app deployed on my phisical iphone
  • i am in italy
  • i am on latest ios version
  • i have stripe dashboard app installed
  • i am connected to the stripe terminal react native sdk with the token fetched from my sandbox account
  • when i call the discover method i get CommandNotAllowed, Operation not permitted. Verify the app has the necessary entitlements and that the application bundle is valid
