I'm not familiar with the Firebase Extension as we don't maintain that extension. That said, you would generally want to set capture_method: "manual" (https://docs.stripe.com/api/payment_intents/create?api-version=2025-06-30.basil#create_payment_intent-capture_method) when creating your PaymentIntent as the way to do this.

Does the extension allow you to specify that?
