I think I already answered you earlier? https://docs.stripe.com/payments/payment-methods/pmd-registration?dashboard-or-api=dashboard#register-your-domain-while-using-connect
i had a follow up question that u sugeested we can register domains for the new onboarding accounts. for the previous accounts would i need to manually register them?
Yes
๐ taking over for my colleague. Let me know if there's any follow-up Qs I can answer!
once i register domains using the api when onboarding the account that would be enough for apple pay and gpay domain verification requirement?
yes that's correct
ahh ok. thanks
so for the already added domains there is no automated way to verify the domains?
do you mean you've already registered these domains?
you can register at any point in time, there's no direct link between when you onboard an account and when you create the payment method domain
i've a lot of existing domains that i need to register so i want to ask is there any automated way i can register those domains or would i need to manually register all of them? are you suggesting that using this API https://docs.stripe.com/payments/payment-methods/pmd-registration?dashboard-or-api=dashboard#register-your-domain-while-using-connect i register all of my existing domains also? and update my onboard flow with this API so they are already registered when i onboard them.
correct
got it. thx
can you pls confirm this as well 'We currently automatically add the subdomain there when they create their Stripe connect account. Is that an automated thing that just happens with Stripe Connect, or do we specifically pass Stripe that value somewhere via API as a deliberate step? '
no you should add any subdomain separately
this is happening currently that when i create a connected account their subdomain gets registered automatically
