Hi, could you elaborate where did you enable PayPay for this Stripe account?
dashboard -> settings -> custom payment methods -> paypay
you can click on "create" and it gives you this tab
my account (pk_test_51RYjbhHWV0gkuFyoIEBEhbGsH3EOFo6AnnnYy8l2c4Sxdp464H9v8wRXGG9cPbh1tvjJE6ncetIun0IeIY9A4hIy00mgKYjERi)
Gotchas, which Doc are you seeing that instructed over using this section?
https://docs.stripe.com/payments/paypay
also this page
Yeah those are the PayPay docs, but they don't mention enabling via "Custom Payment Method", do they?
Because that's a different flow https://docs.stripe.com/payments/payment-element/custom-payment-methods
The 2 Docs you are seeing above, is a Private beta, specifically built-in PayPay
hmm so ['paypay'] for payment_method_types isnt'a available yet
and has nothing to do with the "custom payment method"?
Yes. It's a private beta so you can write in Support and they can enable it for you
I see other merchant is using it
Sure!
Hey @fossil fractal sorry let me help you getting this (a bit) faster
You could fill your email to https://docs.stripe.com/payments/paypay first, then we may reach out to your asking for more information to "onboard" you to PayPay
Then you can separately write an email to Support and keep the conversation with them, to track status
