Generally speaking all we can do is file this product feedback with the product team, but if and when they are building, implementing/supporting, is entirely up to them. There is unfortunately not much more we can do at this time. If enough other merchants request the same feature, the product feedback will get pushed higher on the priority list.

The API is officially deprecated but there is currenlty no timeline on phasing out. If we add a timeline or make any changes, we would announce that.

If that helps, I don't think it will happen anytime soon since so ( so so so) many merchants are still relying on it.

I do have another question. Its regarding Rate Card (https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/usage-based/rate-cards) and wondering if that could help in our case. We usually Subscribe a customer to 2 Price - one static and one usage based. Looks like based on this doc (https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/usage-based/set-up#pricing-model-support) that Rate Cards cannot be used with a flat rate fee. But can we combine Product and Prices with Rate Cards? From the sound of it, it looks like theres going to be 2 invoice if we combine the two as we are going to have 2 subscription instead of 1 as a workaround to combine them.

TO be honest, it is a pretty new feature so I am not super familiar with it yet. But it does seem like an option and is in private preview, meaning you would need to reach out to support anyways to gain access to the feature. There you could evaluate with support if this is a feature that can help you.
