@pine bison What is the exact IP? We haven't changed the list recently at least
One of them is 52.15.183.38
yeah that one is on our list right?
We started seeing webhook errors because we have some pretty strict access rule setup, with a bypass for Stripe IP ranges, and this range wasn't in our bypass rules.

Sorry, yes, it's in the list. I'm trying to figure out if there was an announcement when it was added because I subscribe to the API Announcement group and didn't see one. Last announcement re. Webhook IP addresses changing is from 2021 and doesn't include that range. Our bypass rules match the updated list from the 2021 announcement.
So just trying to figure out how to best monitor this list for changes going forward
This doc says
You can subscribe to the API announce mailing list to be notified of any changes to our IP addresses. We provide seven days’ notice through that mailing list before making changes.
The Google group seems inactive, so maybe it's just that the docs are out of date and we'll need to monitor that list more proactively
https://groups.google.com/a/lists.stripe.com/g/api-announce if you ook at the group it had announcements in 2023 right?
We do want to deprecate the group in the near future but we'd reach out to all subscribers to announce it
But I am part of the group of people that makes sure we announce this properly and so I would be surprised we missed one
I looked and the IP 52.15.183.38 was added 5 years ago so in 2020

Wild. Guess our list was more out of date than we thought. We did have the entries from the 2021 announcement.
I do see the 2023 announcements but took them to only apply to api.stripe.com.
Anyhow, this is looking like my fault for missing the 2020/02/12 announcement re. Webhook IPs, which includes all the ones we're missing 🙃
My bad, sorry for taking up your time
No worries at all. Clearly our current solution is not great. I've never liked that the email didn't have the full list each time because it would make searching much easier but alas I lost that argument internally
