there's no built in way to do this, but you can achieve this by making extra API calls to set the metadata on the object you want.
what type of charge are you using? Direct Charge, Destination Charges, or Separate Charges & Transfers?

Okay, that's what I understood from the doc!
We're using separate charges & transfers. It's not a big problem, it's just an extra click to see the associated metadatas

then it's up to you to make API calls to update any of these objects with the metadat you want.
