The problem is that we tried React Native 0.78 first, but only Expo 53 supports that React Native version.

The other option would be to upgrade to Expo 52 which supports React Native 0.77 (but not React Native 0.78). But you mentioned that you only support Expo 51 so far?

Otherwise, do you have a rough estimate when @stripe/stripe-react-native will support React Native 0.79 and Expo 53 ?

no unfortunately I don't know about the timelines in regards to supporting React Native 0.79 and Expo 53. You can create an issue directly on github https://github.com/stripe/stripe-react-native/issues and someone from the team will reply to you as soon as possible
