As far as I can tell it seems like the Customer sent $64 and $82 and those payments were appropriately reconciled to their respective Invoices - you're just confused about the $4 refund you see in the dashboard, I'm guessing?
I don't see any mention of an overpayment so far, but some of the webhook events are out of retention. Is there an event where you see that refund figure in the API?

No, that is why we are confused. We see that both invoices were paid for the amounts due, but when we go to: https://dashboard.stripe.com/customers/cus_SG16KMbbHTJDTb/cash_balance_transactions/usd
The dashboard says there is a $4 refund due to the customer, and that their cash balance is $64.
This has happened a few times in the past, and we just ignored it, but now it seems to be still happening so we would like to understand what is going on.

So I guess that explains where the $64 cash balance + $4 refund came from? Did the customer just transfer the wrong amount or something?
