PayPal was neither shown when creating a PaymentLink from a connected account in the dashboard, but it was shown when creating a PaymentLink from the platform account dashboard with the option "Split the payment with a connected account" (which should be the equivalent of the PaymentIntent with destination charge)

Yeah, that should work with Connect using Destination Charges: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/paypal#connect

It looks like you enabled PayPal on your Platform account and that request is using Destination Charges.
