Hi there,
are you trying to build your own app for publishing on the stripe marketplace or are you trying to follow the guide you shared? I am not sure I understand where you are stuck right now.

We are trying to create an app for publishing to the stripe marketplace. We provide tax calculation service and want create an app for our customers, so they can enable tax calculations for checkouts, invoices, etc.

The guide was to show what we want to build. We can't find any documentation on how to build an app that has tax calculation feature.

Yes. I have gone through the docs for building stripe apps, but there is no mention of tax calculation feature in them.

Do you mean the app you are building doesn't get labeled correcltly?
My understanding of your question was, that you are building an app, that you plan to publish on the Stripe marketplace for other users to implement in their integration?

Not a labelling issue as much as how do I implement this feature in the app. For instance, how do I configure what endpoint gets called for tax calculation?

And yes, we are building an app that we plan to publish to Stripe marketplace for other users to enable in the tax settings. Other examples of such apps: Anrok, Avalara, Sphere.

We want taxes to be calculated using our endpoint, not stripe tax api.

We provide tax calculation service and we want to be a tax provider that users can pick in the tax settings.
