Oh, I thought Bacs was different from Bank Debit Transfers

I guess my confusion comes from the fact that they are shown as separate here

**Bank transfer **is for customer to transfer fund to you manually, i.e. you give bank account number created by Stripe to the customer and have the customer make a transfer

Direct debit is that you collect their bank account details during the checkout process and debit the payment directly
