Hi, we do not have the expertise with fees and the Dashboard behavior. However, I can help you guide you in how you can look at the balance transaction: txn_3RZWGhQ6fBOCZGVn188R3d05 to look at the fee details. If you have any follow-up question on fees or the Dashboard, you can reach out to our support team. Our support team will be able to assist you better than I can: https://support.stripe.com/contact

I see this id in SDK response, but thats only the first transaction, the second one, was a refund transaction txn_1RZWMaQ6fBOCZGVn3fbtykMR, but it only refunded stripe fee, while dashboard shows that application fee was refunded as well.

Looking further

glad ivy
#

Yeah, this is outside of the scope of our knowledge on this channel. The pricing calculation is not something we can assist with here, you will still need to reach out to support.

#

I understand that it is in the SDK response, but how the fee assessment it not integration related

outer jewel
#

From my experience with stripe support, I doubt they have more expertise than you regarding any technical matters, but nevertheless will try to get anything from them. Thank you

On our end, we see that Stripe fee for $1 was not returned but we do not have enough knowledge to confirm they why behind it and what price structure you have on your account.

outer jewel
#

It is not the problem with Stripe $1 fee, but the problem that according to dashboard both Stripe fee ($1) and application fee ($7.50) were returned, while API says only Stripe fee was returned. I understand how those fees are calculated, I just don't understand why does dashboard and API produce different results, and which of them is true

Are you looking under 'Payment breakdown' in the Dashboard?

#

If you can confirm where, I can confirm with teammates as well

outer jewel
#

Yes, exactly. This is how it looks like

I'm trying to reproduce it on my end using 22222227 as you did. I'm talking to teammates and looking still

#

Thank you for your patience

outer jewel
#

I was using 92222227 (it fails after 3 min) but I guess other than the delay it should behave in the same way

glad ivy
#

We're trying to repro, I will let you know as soon as I can

outer jewel
#

Thank you

glad ivy
#

We were unable to reproduce this using both of the above test accounts. I know you already tried but support is going to have more expertise to further assist.

outer jewel
#

May you share how do transactions look in your case so that I know what is the correct behavior?

glad ivy
#

I see:

amount:
-20
currency:
"gbp"
description:
"Stripe processing fees"

I get the same amount refunded on the amount

outer jewel
#

Did you have application fee enabled for that payment?

glad ivy
#

Looking

outer jewel
#

The way my setup works is I have a platform account and second account connected to it. Managing payments for second account through platform account allows me to include application fee on these payments

glad ivy
#

Yeah, I see what you're seeing now. Testing one more thing

Ok, what I thought would allow me to see otherwise did not work.
