Hi, yes it’s tap to pay via android, I spoke to someone from the stripe team before and they said even tho it doesn’t say it’s supported their, that the d3 pro is supported

#

I have also seen another company in the same sector with the same terminal with the tap to pay feature

And when exactly is the error you mentioned surfaced? Is it when you try to initialize the TTP reader?

So big issue for us as we have 50 of the d3 pro ! We are getting the device is not Google mobile services certified

We are getting the device is not Google mobile services certified

When does this happen?

#

It has gms enabled but they are not gms certified, how can we work around this !

#

As sunmi d3 pro has 2 types

#

1 with gms certified which is what we thought we purchased as that’s what we asked for

If you’re using a non-GMS certified device, you’ll receive an error stating ATTESTATION_FAILURE: Device is not Google Mobile Services (GMS) certified when attempting to connect the device. If this occurs, contact the manufacturer to resolve the issue.

But we have been send gms enabled ones

#

This isn't something we can help with, I'm afraid. This is certification Google issues to device manufacturers

#

You cannot adjust the configuration of the Stripe SDK to work around this.

So they must be GMS certified devices and not GMS enabled ?

#

That is how I read our docs, yes.

So when we purchased the machines from a sunmi certified supplier, we asked for gms certified devices.

They said that the non certified devices also can have gms on them and would work exactly like the certified ones

#

So now we are confused

#

As being told different things

I think you should clarify with your supplier if you received GMS certified or GMS enabled as a first step

#

and maybe you might want to try to get your hands on a definitely GMS certified device to test out

I think so that’s what we have to do

#

Not ideal :/

#

Why is it that they have to be certified ? What’s the difference
