That would typically be the reason you would not see an immediate processing fee being taken.

we're really concerned that we the platform are going to have to pay these fees. we process like $150k a day.

We are still investigating -- definitely does look odd to us but we aren't quite sure yet what is going on.

I think I can safely confirm that isn't the case.
You don't happen to have a timestamp for exactly when this started occurring, do you?
i can dig into it more to try and narrow it down
but definitely wasn't happening thursday and was happening friday
That would help us if you do have that information... we are also working on that from our side as well but narrowing it down would help speed things up.

i'm running a script now to get a better idea of when the last time a charge occurred where the stripe fee was taken out
still calculating but so far it's looking like around 5pm ET on 6/6
Thanks for doing that -- my gut here is there was some sort of config change on your account that caused this. The problem is that we are experts in the API and not account config stuff nor do we really know much about the inner workings of fees.
That's making it quite hard to track down what changed here from our side.
But I'm still looking.

Okay @trail blade I'm sorry to do this but the best thing here is going to be for you to contact our Support team about this via https://support.stripe.com/contact/login -- they have the correct tooling to analyze these account config changes and take a look for whether your Pricing for your account and Connected Accounts got changed.

Sorry I couldn't find anything more helpful ๐ฆ -- as I noted this really isn't our area of expertise but I was hoping I could help since this does look unexpected overall if you weren't aware of any sort of Pricing change for your account.
Not sure one is better than the other.
