Hi there, the card issuer decides whether a 3DS is required and there's no way to prevent it from happening when accepting an online payment.
You can consider using SetupIntent to collect a payment method upfront, and let your customer completes the 3DS authentication when requested, so that the subsequent off-session payments using the collected payment method will have a lower chance of getting a 3DS request.
