๐ happy to help
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by
However, in my API call, I no longer specify that the country is closed.
would you mind elaborating and providing account IDs and request IDs if possible to help me understand
Yes, one sec
This user is trying to register as a seller in Stripe Connect - acct_1RVqtJP2mf1fOLJQ - but for some reason the country SPAIN is blocked.
This is the API call we're making, and it shows that we're never passing the country to it.
if no country is passed, this means that the platform is creating a connected account in their own country
The person in this case is Australian
and we have a similar case in Canada
but you can't payout people in Australia and Canada if your platform is in Spain
So they can't set up a seller account?
cross-border payout is only available in the US
yes
okey
there is a private preview feature though https://docs.stripe.com/connect/destination-charges#:~:text=You can use destination charges%2C without the on_behalf_of parameter%2C when your platform and connected account are in different countries within the US%2C UK%2C and EU. For early access%2C contact us.
So in the near future it will be possible?
it's explained here https://docs.stripe.com/connect/account-capabilities#transfers-cross-border
you can contact https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true to see if you're eligible for early access

Great!
you can also look at this other alternative https://docs.stripe.com/connect/stablecoin-payouts
which is also a private preview feature
and needs early access approval
