Hello
My team on discord won't know anything about pricing/fees unfortunately.
I'd recommend talking to our support team via
https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
They're experts on fees/pricing questions and can help with more detailed answers
Find help and support for Stripe. Our support site provides answers on all types of situations, including account information, charges and refunds, and subscriptions information. Get your questions answered and find international support for Stripe.
Not really about fees, this is about the customer API more so.
Or at least stored customers.
Unless I'm misreading the question, It is more or so about how/when a fee is charged which isn't something we know a ton about so it'll be an educated guess which may or may not be correct ๐
Support team would be able to give you a concrete answer without speculations
or guesses
I can go the support route, just trying to figure out if stripe stores the instant verifcation link to a connect customer if there is not a stored payment method.
My educated guess is
- If the payment method wasn't stored, then yeah we'll charge "instant verification fees" if they come back and re-enter the same payment method details (because we'll need to reverify)
- Once a payment method is stored and verified, authorization does not expire as such. So it won't need to be re-verified unless the payment method is detached or the associated mandate is invalidated for any reason
Ya thats what I was thinking as well. Think I will hit up support just to confirm. Thanks for the info.
NP! Good luck ๐
