What you shared is a billing portal Configuration. Can you share the ID of a Billing Portal Session where only SEPA debit was available as a payment method?
That appears to be missing some characters from the beginning of the ID
A Billing Portal Session ID will look like this: "bps_XXXXXXX"

Okay I found the logs that show we are only surfacing SEPA Debit as a valid Payment Method for customers when loading the Payment Element.
AHA! This took A LOT of digging but it looks like the Payment Method Configuration used pmc_1PxlEQGqdJoAtm42SM201dea when we render the Payment Element has the cards method disabled.
This is your specific Billing Payments configuration. I recommend you go to this page in the Dashboard: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods
Make sure to select the Billing Payments row in the table of Payment Method Configurations, and active the Card payment method type.
I got the french one activated
Do i need to add the global one ? If it's the case do french will be the only one allowed ?
Oh, you mean Cartes Bancaires? Yes that would mean that only customers who's infromation supports the CB payment method would see it as an option.
For now, I have a French credit card in my config, but the option doesn't appear on my customer portal. My question is, if I re-add the global card option, will it appear, and will it be linked to the French card only?
If you active the card payment method then this will enable all card payment methods. However, in most cases CB payments are also processed over Visa/MC networks
which may be why you don't see it enabled if Cards is not enabled

Great. Unfortunately I was not able to identify the user who made this change. It looks like all changes on this Configuration record occurred on 2024-09-11
