Right, we recently launched a conversational docs AI assistant
In the response it should allow you to review the Docs sources used to generate the answer.
I don't think we would detach the payment method automatically. We will mark the card as inactive and block any attempts to charge it.

Hm, gotcha. Yeah I didn't drill down into the sources after that answer unfortunately.
I just asked it again and the answer was "no" so I guess that's pretty clear that my previous result wasn't trustworthy. Thanks for the clarification!

As I'm sure you are likely familiar, you would want to listen for the payment_method.automatically_updated webhook event to track any changes applied by the CAU.
