Unfortunately it is not possible to set the currency via API: https://support.stripe.com/questions/setting-a-customers-default-currency
You can do it via the dashboard.

This is insane to me how this can not be automated through the API. I potentially will have thousands of customers and need to control that they all are paying in EUR and potential credit balances also needs to be in EUR, but as soon a customer is entering their Tax ID they will be set to the currency related to the country the Tax ID is from.
Is this at least something that will be possible in the not so distant future through the API?
