Ah nope you can't change the currency at confirmation manualy. I think one option here is to use adaptive price, and let Stripe decide what is the best currency for the customer:

Hmm, ok, so the confirmation update stage will always take the currency of the subscription created the first time?
I already look at the adaptive-pricing but I think I prefer to have a fixed price per currency
Then you should use the desired currency at Subscription level
you confirm that there is no way to change currency on an existing subscription? I will need to cancel the current subscription and take a new one ?
Yes, there is no field currency to update when calling the Subscription update API:
