Here is our payment checkout, the top element is a LinkAuthenticationElement and the bottom one is part of the PaymentElement.

It's subtle but you can see the border is doubled for the email input.

but that's actually not possible, I was already customizing the width but the border is applied twice, one in the wrapper div , and one in the input element. Both using the rule selector "Input" and I cannot differentiate them.
