Also:

today I tried to connect stripe to my other kit account and it asked me to create a webhook end point

"It" was kit.com? I.e., kit.com askrd you to create a webhook endpoint?

yes kit.com asked me to create a webhook end point and I did that in stripe and that didn't work. i actually don't remember creating that for the other account that does work - maybe it's something new, I don't know

So if I understand this correctly, you're trying to connect Kit.com to one Stripe Account multiple times?

I have one stripe account that I'd like to use for multiple kit.com accounts. one kit.com account is already working with stripe. the new one I tried to set up today is not

I don't know if that's possible from kit.com's perspective, so you likely should check with them first.
