Hi there! Prorations are enabeld by default so if you want to not generate them, you'll need to explicitly say so when updating the Subscription.

As with most things involved with a global system, the answer is "it probably depends." That said, in all tax jurisdictions I am aware of, if a product/price is taxable its prorations would be taxable too - positive or negative.
But I'm not an international tax lawyer or accountant so ... don't rely on my word in court or anything. 🤪
