Hello, good question, looking in to this

ok

Having trouble finding more on this, will reach out to my colleagues. Have you tried voiding a credit grant to see if that potentially takes it off of the "unused" list?

wild kernel
#

our use case is , we want the credits to be expired automatically and don't want to manage expire credit. Want to leverage maximum of stripe feature

#

So I have not tried void credit grants, its too much work when we leverage stripe features. If we do that its better to build a credit grant system in our code.

#

I will wait for your response, let me know if I need to create a ticket / case for this

Gotcha, I'm seeing the same behavior in test mode myself but I am finding things that indicate the expired grants shouldn't count as unused. I have a feeling the issue may be that test clocks don't simulate this properly yet, I'm running a test without the clock to confirm but that will take a couple real time minutes

wild kernel

ok, I agree expired credit grant should not be considered as unused

I'm seeing the same behavior in test mode without a test clock. I've reached out to some colleagues to double check what is happening here.

Hi! So it sounds like the team responsible is aware of this and working on it, and the intent is to have coupons that expire by time not be included in that, but for the moment they are, so you'll need to Expire them manually. https://docs.stripe.com/api/billing/credit-grant/expire
