Business requirement. I want to bill on a specific day of month and it's OK for me that the first period is shorter

Hmm not sure this is possible when using billing cycle anchor.

I think you want to create a one-off Invoice here for the initial full charge and then you can start a Subscription with a trial period until you want to bill.

Or you could just start the Subscription and then update it with a trial period to bill at the next desired anchor date
