Ok, looking at the subscription this schedule produced, sub_1RKkp9DmBV82bgp2QjUP7SJq, what do you mean by:
should have ended at start of the day today

end_date was specified as 5 May 2025 18:30:00 GMT. The subscription should have been canceled by now but it hasn't.
Since the end_behavior was undefined, it defaulted to release
Thats the end date of the phase
Since its the only phase, the schedule release
If you want the subscription to cancel after the phases are all completed, you need to specify end_behavior=cancel
