Hi, let me help you with this.
There's 2 ways:
- Set a custom price amount.
- Use Price objects but apply custom discounts.
Thanks! If we dynamically calculate the remaining amount after deducting internal credits,
does it mean we should avoid using price_id and instead use line_items.amount directly when creating a Checkout Session?
Also, is there a clean way to associate that payment back to a product ID on our side, since we wouldn't be using Stripe Prices?
You have to use line_items[][price_data][unit_amount] for this: https://docs.stripe.com/api/checkout/sessions/create#create_checkout_session-line_items-price_data-unit_amount
This basically creates a single-use Price object on the fly.
You can still reuse the Product object for description/image.
