Would this be a one-time migration kind of thing or are you looking to be able to do this on an ongoing basis?

It's more like a one-time migration thing, maybe two maximum

Currently, each profile on our systems generate a different one on Stripe. We're gonna merge these two profiles into one, and we would like to do the same on Stripe, so we don't need to ask the customer to add payment information again

Gotcha, it looks like there may be something that can be enabled for your account but I'm having trouble getting clarity right now. I think the best way forward is I'll reach out to colleagues and we can create a case for me to get back to you through email.
If my colleagues say that it can't help, the best way will be to ask your customers to re-enter their PM info. Hopefully asking two users won't be that bad but I get wanting to avoid it if possible

Creating a case would be great

We don't even need to migrate the rest, such as subscriptions etc. Because we can grant them trial subscriptions in the new customer

Yep, that is how you will want to transfer the subscriptions, cancel the original and recreate them on the other customer
