you don't have to notify Stripe. the PaymentIntent cas stay incomplete and that's fine

no I don't think so. like I said, a PaymentIntent can stay incomplete, it won't impact anything. but if you want to cancel it, you can with the endpoint I shared.

okay. I wanted to make sure there is nothing default in the stripe terminal sdk for tap to pay that I haven't seen. because it seems to me that the payment from the stripe dashboard when I click x is automatically canceled. so use this tip?

I'm not sure I understand this part. can you clarify?

I can also do tap to pay through your application for Android and iOS. and there if I don't put the card and cancel the payment it seems to me that it automatically has the status canceled

yes maybe, I'm not really familiar with this flow. but that doesn't change what I said earlier.
