๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

๐Ÿ”— This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1366291470692384810

That is probably more suitable for a Promotion Code. Coupon is a fixed offer you provide, and Promotion Code is your customer choice

Hey @shut elk - thanks for the reply.

To expand on our scenario, we pass a coupon in when we create checkout sessions, which carries our "standard" offer.

We have some other non-standard scenarios however where the customer would benefit from being able to change this to use a promotion code that they've been provided with (as the promotion they have is "better" than our standard offer). These included promotion codes distributed by affiliates, special offers sent to targeted cohorts etc.

Yes I understand! However we don't have that default functionality ๐Ÿ˜ฆ The best approach I can think of is turning on allow_promotion_code then distribute your standard PMCode and also your affiliates PMCodes separately

On the page before redirect the Stripe Checkout, display something like "Use ABC to have a discount of 20%, or any other caimpaign of your choice"
