Hi Orakaro! Attached is a log file from trying to start the app back up

Hi @digital coral based on the log, looks ike the error is caused by "04-27 19:47:01.058 3968 3968 E AndroidRuntime: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: dalvik.system.PathClassLoader[DexPathList[[zip file "/data/app/nz.co.vista.serve-5Ku1XGbQNVkRJDIYFdU30g==/base.apk"],nativeLibraryDirectories=[/data/app/nz.co.vista.serve-5Ku1XGbQNVkRJDIYFdU30g==/lib/arm64, /system/lib64, /product/lib64]]] couldn't find "libhermes.so""

#

To my best knowledge, libhermes,so is from react-native SDK.

Hi Jack thank you for the info!

#

I wanted to clarify, I'm not a developer for Vista Group, but a Product Specialist for it. Looking at that link, it's referring to running it through and android studio project. This is an .apk that is live in the app store and doesn't run into this issue on other devices. Is this a setting that can be resolved in any way that doesn't involve development on the application?

#

I don't think so, this error requires your app developer's effort to fix

#

Is there any chance we can jump on a short call to discuss?

prime roost
#

No we don't have call option I'm afraid. Happy to continue the discussion through chat

#

Looking at that second link you sent, it looks like some android permissions that are needed that I can see in the error log I sent over as well. Even if the error regarding libhermes was resolved, would those permission errors prevent the app from starting?

prime roost
#

No, the error isn't related to Android permissions.
