but I've one user from UAE and he is not able to create an account, because express account type is not supported there.

That's not an onboarding method though, that's an account type. Overall I don't really understand what you're asking us

my concern is if I change the account type from Express to Standard, then my existing accounts (created in a Express type) won't get affected right?

But you may need to revisit your payment flows for different account types

Sure, for example liability (refunds, disputes) for destination charges falls on the platform. This is different for direct charges (standard accounts) where the connected account is liable
