you want to convert existing Express accounts into Standard accounts?

tawdry sinew

No, I just want to change the method from express to standard, is existing accounts will work fine?

What is your onboaridng 'method'?

tawdry sinew
#

currently express

#

but I've one user from UAE and he is not able to create an account, because express account type is not supported there.

That's not an onboarding method though, that's an account type. Overall I don't really understand what you're asking us

Yes, you can onboarding different account types to your platform

my bad, I meant account type only.
my concern is if I change the account type from Express to Standard, then my existing accounts (created in a Express type) won't get affected right?

Nope

#

But you may need to revisit your payment flows for different account types

Sure, for example liability (refunds, disputes) for destination charges falls on the platform. This is different for direct charges (standard accounts) where the connected account is liable

https://docs.stripe.com/connect/charges#types

Create a charge and split payments between your platform and your sellers or service providers.
