Hello, looking in to this. Have you ever gotten the generated card when doing this flow?

sly spindle
#

yes, when paying in USD at a US located terminal

#

I have not been able to find explicit documentation on your Site that explains when a token can be requested, only where Stripe terminals are supported and for what currencies

#

Gotcha, do you have the ID on hand of a payment intent from your US accout where this did work? I'm not immediately seeing anything about regional restrictions for this specific feature but I am still looking

sly spindle
#

hang on ...

#

we get it back on the confirm call

drowsy walrus
#

Thank you, looking into both now

#

I am not finding anything, reaching out to colleagues and will get back with what we can find.

As a quick update we are still looking into this but haven't found a cause yet

It looks like we're going to have to escalate to the eng team that works on this flow. As far as we can tell, the generated card should be created properly based on what you are doing. It will take longer to hear back from them so we should create an email case that I can get back to you through.

Can you fill out the above and let me know when you are done? I can connect it with the what I am filing now

#

@sly spindle as I see you may be away

sly spindle
#

I'm back again

drowsy walrus
#

Sounds good, I can grab the case as soon as it is created. You don't need to provide much info, you can just copy-paste your initial question

sly spindle
#

oops, didn't do that

#

thought you said it would be linked back to this conversation

drowsy walrus
#

You are good, I grabbed it

sly spindle
#

thanks, so I guess I wait for an email response?

drowsy walrus
#

It is, I mostly just say that because some users will type up a whole huge thing and I feel bad

#

Yep yep, I'm sending a quick response to show that I've picked up the case. Will let you know as soon as I hear back
